I always passed this restaurant but never bothered to go in until a neighbor suggested I check it out. I'm so glad I did!
The interior is really charming with its brightly colored hand painted wooden chairs. The staff is friendly and the complimentary chips and salsa are delicious. The food is like comfort food, served hot and to the brim with rice and beans filling your plate. The portions are huge too!
Parking might be a little tough in the back or on the street and lunch is only served on the weekdays. But the friendliness of the staff, the comfort food and the local neighborhood feel are reasons to keep coming back!
