I have been to Watermark several times and have enjoyed the food. Their signature appetizer - The Grit Souffle is very nice. I have also had the Veal Cheeks, another great dish. For the most part, the items I have tried or my guests have tried have been good. A couple of items I probably would not order again - the Foie Gras (average execution and average product) and the Fritto Misto (good but not worth $12). (Personally I think Nashville has an issue with trying to charge NYC, LA or SF prices for food which does not compare to what you would get if you paid the same price in these cities). We have had some service issues, but I have come to expect that in Nashville. It is the ""in"" place to go at the moment and we will continue to dine here.
Pros: Food, Location, Ambiance
Cons: Service (slightly)
