if this is the one of the best restaurants LA has to offer then we have a long way to go. The tapas were good but not great. I felt a lot of the food was over salted. Nothing reached our and grabbed me as a truly signature dish that I had to come back for. The wine list was good value and I like the half carafe deal, which gave you some variety of choice. The staff was friendly and helpful even though they were very crowded for a Tuesday night. Not many highend LA restaurants are able to even reach this level of orignality and competency without going the easy ""steak"" way out which says alot to me at least about the state of affairs of the LA food scene.
