Last Thursday night I arrive late and in the rain to Cafe Bon Ton. The owner, Wayne Pierce greeted me with a smile and a cozy table. I brushed away the plane flight and rain with their delicious Gumbo. I tried Debbie's Salad with the Bon Ton Salad Dressing that includes Tabasco sauce, horseradish and Creole mustard. The crab chunks from the salad melted into the dressing suprising my weary mouth! I needed to continue work at the hotel so Pat, my lovely waittress, fixed a To Go Bag with Bread Pudding and Whiskey Sauce and strong coffee with ""four creams."" In the bag I found a recipe from Alzina Pierce for the salad dressing, the bread pudding and the whiskey sauce.
