When I lived in Davis, I would visit Berkeley just to have a knish and pastrami omelet for breakfast at Saul's. Now that I live in Los Angeles again, I can't just make a ""Saturday of it"" in the Bay Area...but I can definitely guarantee a stop when I visit my family in Danville. Since I was last at Saul's, they've expanded and have more tables, but definitely haven't changed the feel or ambience. I can tell you that the breakfasts are just as good as they were a decade ago. The Deli Hash was packed full of corned beef, pastrami, and salami, and the spinach-mushroom knish is just as good as it ever was. Go on in and try a great deli sandwich and a Dr. Brown's black cherry soda!
