They neglected to tell me that the retail part of the business doesnt take my vision plan (HealthNet Vision PPO) and I would be charged out-of-network fees for the frames and lenses (even though I asked for clarification). I went back to complain and after a lot of hand waving and admitting that his salesperson made math mistakes on the bill, he said that if I file for a reimbursement for out-of-network services from HealthNet Im making out better than I wouldve if I went to an office that was in-network for both exams and frames/lenses. The manger/owner shouldve made the changes/corrections at that moment and explained to me the mistakes, but didn't. I couldnt get a refund even though the glasses arent made yet. So I paid approximately $60 more than I was expecting, wasted most of my afternoon trying to sort this out, and feel completely bamboozooled.
