If you even remotely like books, magazines or music, you must shop here!! I used to live across the street and I'd go for hours until they closed (at 11). There is a cafe/coffee shop inside, you can get mini-massages, there's a large kids area with a little playhouse. Large selection of old records, very discounted music CDs, DVDs, old magazines. They even have rare and valuable books on display. You can always find a gift for someone here - not everything is used. They have a large gift section in the front with calendars, datebooks, recipe books, fridge magnets, stationary, etc. This is a very cool place to stay and hang out (read) for quite a while.
Pros: huge selection, cheap, sell your old books
Cons: not fancy, "warehouse" feel, missing popular books
