You know, I wrote a wonderful review in April, 2006. However, my last few visits have been a disapointment because the new MALE employees have been down right rude. And, like another reviewer, the High Tea ($15.00 per person for a couple of small sandwiches, scones, and petit fours) was unavailable as I was told ""there was no one to make the sandwiches"". Well, if you are going to run a formal tea house, I highly recommend you return to your policy of making your pricey High Tea available to those of us willing to dole out the cash. I will say that the birthday party for my grand daughter, organized in advance, was very charming although I had envisioned having it in the victorian parlor instead of being locked in a small, uneventful room. Delicious clam chowder!
Pros: ambiance
Cons: male servers
