I grew up in Chicago, and for me, deep dish pizza is the *only* pizza there is :) Zachary's is at least as good as any of the Chicago deep dish outfits, and maybe better. Of the major Chicago deep dish places, I think Zachary's is closest to Giordano's in terms of crust style and flavor. If you don't like deep dish, try Cheeseboard in Berkeley. I like their food too, but it's not pizza in my book :)
