In Galveston, mediocre is viewed as excellent. I think we are all eager to find something unique. This place is a one of a kind and in Galveston (with no competition) it ranks high among the natives. I was in their new location and two people identified as the owners were the rudest people I have ever encoutered. I got in line (there were 8 people working and two people ahead of me) they ordered pastries and I waited for five minutes while people counted change, etc. I asked if someone could help me. The owner came out , said, ""I don't like your attitude, I don't care if you eat here or not, etc. All this because he was in charge of an incompetent operation. Mediocre desserts and a horrible attitude. One staff member whispered: ""I try not to ever talk to them.""
Pros: different
Cons: rude owners, mediocre food, pompous
