Art Coop has a few items that are hard to find elsewhere which is the only reason anyone outside of campus would go there. But for students it is very convinient, which is probably how it has survived. I find the prices to be WAY higher than other craft/hobby stores on town. They do have things other than art supplies, like children's toys/craft kits but those are usually expensive as well. I always try other stores first before having to find parking on campus and pay their higher prices.
