I read the LA Times review, and I read the CitySearch review - they are wrong... this place is awful. Okay, the food was decent - nothing to write home about - but decent. A nice selection of greek wines, cheeses and dips that I enjoyed. The service however, was the worst I've ever experienced. We were ignored the whole night, our water wasn't refilled once, we asked for more bread and were promptly ignored or forgotten, our dessert took half an hour, etc. Normally, when I pay $100 for a two person meal, I expect great, very personal service. Don't expect that at Petros - heck don't even bother going. This place is a waste of time - I just want to make sure no others waste their time here.
