We went to Ararat on a Saturday night. Reservations are a definite must. The place is interesting, very different and has lots of potential. The service was OK, not great, but certainly not nearly as bad as some of the previous reviews would leave you to believe. The food was good to very good, but not great. The mixed appetizer platter was very good as was the lamb. The appetizer was served quickly, the entrees took nearly an hour. The entertainment was mediocre...belly dancers were amateurs at best. And....please, get a new sound system outside. It is almost painful. Despite the problems, we will go back.
Pros: different, interesting food
Cons: mixed bag service, slow
