This place was recommended by a friend, and has a Zagats rating of 24. On arriving the people next to us were telling the waiter that the Veal Chop special was ""grizzely."" I had rack of lamb, and the fat was as hard as a rock. My wife had the Delmonico steak, and it was over-cooked, and not the best piece of meat. Nothing was actually prepared properly, and these were standard dishes. Something has changed here: ownership, chef ... this was not just lower than expected, this was terrible.
