My husband and I do love Indian food and we have tried many, many different styles and tastes of India. We use to go to Sneha and Saravanaa Bhavan.Since we moved to San Mateo weve researched and asked around for the best south Indian food/restaurant in this area. Upon arriving, we drove past it because it is a bit difficult to see, just be sure that you do not drive past it. Its before the fish store. We arrived around 6:00pm. There was no one there just yet, but later it had gotten very crowded, we ordered Gandhis favorite, mango lassis and we also order fresh hot steamy idls.The food was delicious and very tasty. The service was kind and fast. Very laid back and comfortable. The price was reasonable and parking was easy.
