I've been to The Kitchen (Upstairs) a few times so far, and I must state that the bar staff needs some customer service training (i.e. how to be more personable). The guys are nice enough, but one woman in particular was cold and uncaring. I really appreciate the decor, although the clientele seems to be a bit snobby at times as the beautiful people of Boulder gather to see and be seen. I also appreciate the food concept--patronizing local farmers, for example. Nice bathrooms, a hip style, best to visit on a weeknight so the crowds don't prevent you from really enjoying the place. Bring some money, you'll need it.
