Someone once recommended I do Pilates to help rehabilitate from a lower back injury. Having been an athelete for most of my life, being injured was not something I was capable of coping with easily. Once I began the Pilates sessions, I recognized the value of core strength and it was because these instructors know exactly what they are doing. This is a studio filled with professional trainers who focus exclusively on you and your needs. I highly recommend Pilates as a form of exercise and rehabilitation. Further, I highly recommend Pilates Manhattan; it's a great atmosphere and view in addition to quality instruction.
