New to town, and came to Roux this past Tuesday night on a coworker's recommendation. Although we did have a twenty-minute wait for a table (make a reservation), it was undoubtedly the best meal, and experience, that I've had in a long time. The oysters were impeccably fresh and reasonably priced. As entrees go, the cassoulet was just decent, but the sole/crab dish, beef short ribs and bouillabaisse were seriously outstanding. Our outstanding waitress was really what made this place shine, though. She directed us through the menu and wine like a seasoned pro while making us feel like we'd somehow gained an impossibly nice new family member. Do yourself a favor, and ask for Emmaline.
