My parents, grandparents & aunts & uncles, came to America from Palermo, Sicily in the 1940s and every meal was a majestic exploration in the collective art of Italian cuisine that they practiced daily. Up till now, after learning how to cook myself, my family and I never went to any Italian restaurants until we discovered Massimis.
Every sauce is outstanding, the dishes are powerful, salads and desserts are served on chilled plates, every bite will be followed by another, you will want to lick your plate clean! My husband & I recommend everything! The Ossobucco when available, the Salmon Picatta, Chicken Marsala and any pasta, especially the Spinach Ravioli & Linguine Scampi.
The servers are polite and love seeing you have a great time. Hopefully you find a night when the owner/chef Max is on duty, like mentioned before you will be blown away by this colorful Italian character.
