My mom's pug doesn't like going out of the house. Try to get him out on a walk, nothing doing. He will get into the car because my parents take him with them when they go out to eat (leaving the window unrolled), though he barks at everything he sees. But when they tell him that they are going to "get pretty", he runs to the car. Of course, it doesn't happen that often. Walking in to pick him up, I could tell they care about their four legged clients. The animals did not seem distressed in the slightest. Fred was clean and happy and my parents have sent him back several times.
