We went on the basis of enthusiastic reviews, but were generally disappointed. Nice ambiance, lighting, decor, and great service, but the food is strictly Americanized... In other words, it was put through the deflavorizing machine... No spice; just mediocre. I sympathize with the chef's dilemna... trying to cater to a market that basically savors blandness. The outdoor dining is also strictly Americanized... In other words, with a high wall separating diners from that frightening, terrorist-filled world outside .
Pros: service, ambiance, clientele
Cons: bland food
