Denver, NC isn't exactly known for it's restaurants, and Safari Miles won't change that. With all the casual dining options available a short drive away in Huntersville, this restaurant needs something to set itself apart. Unfortunately, the food is very average, and hasn't been consistent on the occasions I have dined there. It's an ok place for lunch, but the dinner fare needs a lot of work. This restaurant desperately needs an executive chef to institute some quality controls. A better trained staff is also in order; lack of wine knowledge among the servers and bartenders is painfully obvious, although the extensive martini list is a nice touch.
Pros: no wait, good location, inexpensive
Cons: poor service, inconsistent food
