Entered Vic's Embers at 5:30 after careful consideration of location for birthday celebration. Advised we would be seated in 20 minutes. After 45 minutes a bus arrived and all 30 or 40 were promptly attended to. Vic's does not take reservations and it is a first come, first serve (so they say, but I guess it depends). When we asked one person declared it wasn't his job - the bartender apologized profusely (she was the best thing about the place) - and Vic finally said we would be seated - obviously being seated after a bus would overload the kitchen and a nice birthday dinner would be a thought never realized. It was just a matter the owner not caring about the customer - for us, a celebration gone sour never to be remedied. We are new to the area but we will tell our story far and wide
