I just had a disappointing experience at James Joseph for a color job. The color came out too red (orange on the scalp) despite me asking for neutral. It is a pretty color and it's obvious the stylist knew what she was doing, but it wasn't what I requested. I went back for a 2nd (free) appt to have the red toned down and was told that adding too much toner would make it look flat, so only a little toner was applied. Still unhappy, I asked the receptionist if I could get reimbursed for the first appt and she said no. Is there any way I can get reimbursed or at least get a credit towards my next appt? I'm thinking maybe neutral highlights would help but I think the salon should cover the cost.
