My husband and I have been coming to the Alpine for more than 30 years. We have always loved the ambience, coziness, service and great food. It's truly a ""retreat"", nestled in the beautiful Holy Hill area, with an atmosphere that makes you really think you're in the Alps somewhere. A couple caveats: it's a little pricey, and, this restaurant has been in the same family for many years. Their patrons have been coming there for many years. Sometimes they all get caught up in chit-chatting with the ""regulars"". If you as a ""newbie"" think you're being ignored, say something!
