Last part of town you'd expect a good restaurant in, but still . . .
Very sexy interior. Oh and the TV in the bar was showing ""Barbarella"". Right on.
The cocktails were the best! Fresh squeezed juices, interesting flavors. Very well done.
The food was great. We had their beef tartare--great flavor and seasoning, and the seared scallop is a nice touch. The mussels smelled wonderful as they arrived, and proved delicious. For entrees we had the penne with boar ragu and the fish special, which was sole with brown butter sauce and celery root. Both very tasty. Perfectly cooked pasta and nice hearty sauce. The fish was very good, with a nice lemony, brown butter sauce with capers.
The dining room is small and got quite noisy when full. All in all, though, it's a perfect place for a romantic evening.
Pros: food, cocktails, atmoshpere
Cons: kinda noisy, dark
