I think Edo-ya Tokyo Cuisine is one of the best Japanese style restaurants in Fresno. They have really good sashimi, sushi, and teppin-yaki. Although the service needs to be improved, they have a full service bar, great ambience, and I especially like the traditional Japanese style dining room. The problem with the service is that after dinning at the restaurant several times, they are slow in getting the food to the table and occassionally mix up the orders. I think if they just train their staff better they can be the best Japanese cuisine restaurant in Fresno because it's a beautiful restaurant with great food they just have a less than average staff.
