I would not recommend this apartment complex. The only redeeming value is that it is located in one of Vacaville's nicer, down-town neighborhoods; within walking distance to the Town Square, Farmer's Market, and several nice parks. The complex itself is very run-down, older apartment units. Work is started and then rarely finished in a timely manner, if finished at all. The mis-matched, tacky exterior colors are embarrasing. The dumpster area is filthy and filled with furniture, apartment appliances, and garbage; in the summer the stench is horrible. Tenants are allowed to do as they please and complaints are rarely addressed. In the last several years we have had (5) apartment managers; some were on site and some were off site. We currently have off site management and I guess a quick drive through the parking lot is an on site visit. The complex is dark, lights rarely work. Maintenance concerns are sporadically addressed. Maintenance personnel changes frequently and do not wear any identification when they come to your door; requests regarding personnel background checks and fingerprinting have gone unanswered making for an unsafe environment. One particular maintenane worker was accused of stealing out of the apartments. Another maintenance work told me that, ""there isn't a thing I don't know about the people living here."" It is rumored that the management company hires ""down and out"" individuals to conduct maintenance. They rarely know what they are doing and often leave repairs worse than when they started. Upstairs apartments are very hot in the summer and the roofs leak in the winter. There are only small wall air conditioners and wall heaters. For comparable price there are many nicer complexes in Vacaville; take a look before renting here.
Pros: Great location in downtown Vacaville; one of the few complexes that offer three bedroom apartments.
Cons: Inconsistent management and maintenance; old complex; poor tenant management
