I made a reservation 1 month in advance to eat at Peter Luger over the holidays. When I called to confirm my reservation, the staff was horribly rude, and said they did not have my reservation in the books. Unlike a fabulous restaurant some claim that it is, the manager did not even try to fit my party in; he simply told me to ""come in for drinks, and he would see what he could do."" What terrible customer service! I am actually glad that they lost my reservation - I much rather spend the money at a respectable steak house!
