This place is amazing! I lived in Korea for a year and am always disappointed with Korean restaurants in the States. I judge all Korean restaurants by their chigae (stew) which makes up a large part of the Korean diet. I was knocked over by the authenticity of the food here. It was exactly as I had it in Korea. To be fair, I did have to send my dwenjang chigae (soy bean paste stew) back because it didn't have enough flavor. Apparently they thought since I wasn't Korean I wouldn't like it full-flavor, but when I got it back it was outstanding. I highly recommend this dish and this restaurant. \r

Another good surprise is the nice ambiance. Most Korean restaurants in the states are really dark dingy-looking places, but Hae Rim was clean, bright, and cheery, with nice tables, etc. \r

Go try it out.
Pros: Authentic flavors
Cons: They need more locations!
