First United Methodist church in Crowley has been a part of the community since the late 1890's yet its vision is for all generations today to come and meet Christ at this church. The programing is a varied menu of activities from children's events like Fun Fridays @ First and youth mission trips to activites for families and opportunities for senior adults. The worship is carefully planned to meet the varing styles of worship that help people fullfill their religious experience. The church is active in the community, founding Crowley House of Hope. Church members participate in building Habitat for Humanity houses, sending emergency supplies for flood vicitms, keeping the local cemetery mowed, and numerous other mission activities.
