It just isn't quite what it's cracked up to be. While certain members of the staff are fun engaging and interesting, many lack the polish that a restaurant of this alleged caliber should have. It is attractive and lively and I suppose if you've got cash to burn there's no harm in giving it a try. The steak and sides were perfectly adequate, though frankly indistinguishable from what one would get at Ruth's or Morton's. Unless your main goal is to eye the more garish who's who of Portland society save a few bucks and go somewhere with the same middle-high quality but better value.
