We decided to find some good authentic Italian food after being stranded in Seattle all week and by proximity found Vino's in Renton. We were seated fairly quickly but it was all downhill from there.I'm used to getting the worst table in the house being a long haired ,bearded, and large truck driver so as usual we were seated at the most out of the way table available and sumarily forgotten about. After a while we received water to keep us from dying of dehydration then were abandoned again. When someone finally got around to taking our order I guess they assumed by my appearance that ANY wine would be wasted on me since no recommendations were offered and no inquiry was made if we wanted any. I travel all over this country and one of things i enjoy the best is to try cuisine from all corners of the US. The soup was bland and tepid. The presentation of the prosciutto appetizer was basically room temperature lunch meat thrown at a cold plate from across the room. My rigatoni salcchia could have very well come from a Chef Boyardee can and her spaghetti bolognese had a flavor I can only compare to canned dogfood. Her hot tea never arrived after multple requests and another couple that was quarantined in the same alcove we were never received their food by the time we left two and a half hours later even though their order was taken immediately after ours. After not receiving the check more than thirty minutes after I asked for it I went downstairs and was forced to wait and listen to rude comments because I didn't have the patience to wait for them to bring me my check. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but service aside ... if you feel the food is worth recommending at Vino's then you need to get out more.
