For my job I take a lot of clients out to dinner. So over the years I feel like I have eaten at some really great restaurants and some really bad restaurants. Grey Moss is below average. Their service just ruined the night. We went on a Tuesday night. They only had two tables with guest when we first arrived and only one table of three guests came after us. That table left way before we did. They seemed to order about the same amount of food as my table of three. One of my clients sent his entree back and the chef came out to ask why. My client said that he did not like the flavor which I tasted and it was not good. The chef and server made us feel like we should apologize for not liking the food. We were concerned since the first entree?s took a really long time to be served that the second entree would be even longer. It actually came back at a reasonable time frame. We rarely saw our server and once had to go and request for him to come to our table. The service was SUPER slow and after that one table left we were the only people in the restaurant. I was going to get dessert but it took so long for him to come back and take our dessert order I lost interest and it was getting late. Also I ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list. When I ordered the second bottle they tell me that the one I picked out was out of stock and the first bottle was the reserve which was $30.00 more. My company puts us on a wine price limit and that $30.00 extra put me over the limit but it would have looked bad if I declined the second reserve bottle that I just ordered. I will never go back to this restaurant again, and I will voice my opinion to others as well. One thing that was very tasty was the escargot and the hostess was nice!
