So basically i got an invitation to my friends birthday party at Air Conditioned. I personally had never even heard of this place, and when we arrived i realized that it was where the old club Marquez used to be. I was skeptical at first since Marquez used to be pretty shady, so i didnt know what to expect from Air Conditioned. We got there a little before 10, and the line was beginning to form. First thing i see is HOTTIES in line, so things were already looking up! The wait wasnt to bad when we got there, but there was definately a wait later on in the evening. I was shocked to find that the bouncers were actually FAIR when it came to guarding the door! basically it was a first come first serve basis, which in my opinion is the way it SHOULD be. We were even cracking jokes with he doormen about the people who felt they shouldnt have to wait in line. Before i even got in i already had a good first impression. And it was all up hill from there! The inside of the bar was awsome! The first thing i noticed was the glowing bar and the beautiful bartenders hehe. It never got so crowded inside that you couldnt move (unlike some places like Circle Bar on Main Street) which is a pet peeve of mine, but it still got crowded enough to keep the energy level high. The drinks were a little steep but they were strong as hell, and the DJ was throwin down some JAMS!! the dance floor was absolutely PACKED with girls who were dressed to IMPRESS, lemme tell you! I cant believe that i had never been down here before. Its a perfect addition to my hometown, just what Venice needed. Even though i had no luck with the ladies, my friend managed to pick up. So basically when i come back next friday, im gonna have to even the score !
