Absolutely worth the trip to the outskirts of Phoenix. Pleasant atmosphere, aim to please attitudes in a family-owned, family run setting. Food is great, enchiladas remind me of New Mexico flavor and beans are delicous. Tacos are their specialty, whether the carne asada variety or the shredded beef type. Make sure to save room for the bu?uelos, they are a treat.
Pros: simple, yet elegant setting, service is attentive, prices are more than reasonable
Cons: bit of a trip if you live in east valley and you have a Don Rafa taco craving
