Red Robin is the classic spot for a Friday night meal in Yuba City. The burgers are fantastic (except that they nixed the A1 Peppercorn, but I'll forgive them). The bar is typically crowded on the weekends and a fun place to grab a drink. The service is great at times and overwhelmingly poor at others.. it's kind of a toss-up. Parking can be tricky and the wait can be long but definitely a great place for a large group.
