The Estates is located just behind the Mall of Wellington Green. There is virtually everything you need within a minute or two drive. There's a gourmet market, pizza place, chinese, ribs, a nail salon, hair, furniture and then the mall. The Estates used to be operated by Gables, but as of June 2006, it was bought and is now operated by Equity Residential. \r

Since their acquisition, sadly, The Estates has gone downhill. the grounds used to be clean and well maintained, now, if someone litters, it just remains there. the old maintenance staff used to pick up after the litter-bugs. (Why people have to litter, is beyond my comprehension)The old office staff was very friendly, always interested in you and would go out of their way to take time with their residents. The new staff doesn't really care, and it's very obvious.\r

As for the apartments, well, they are called "Designer Apartment Homes." I think they did that so they can charge a lot for rent, because there is nothing "designer"
