We were out in Boston this weekend and while there visited with some family. They had heard wonderful things about Dom's and decided to make a reservation for the 4 of us for this past Friday night. When placing our orders, the owner said ""The food is great, but the service s**ks!"" He was right. It took one half hour to place our order and we didn't manage to get our wine until the 3rd request (about an hour into the evening). 2 hours later, we finally received our food. Prior to that, we did have some salad and bread. The owner took our order down on a Mead notebook and at the end of the night made up some of the prices for our meals. The bill ended up being almost $15 off. He adjusted it but didn't apologize for it being wrong, OR for our food taking hours to be prepared! The service is just as important as the food-- so if you intend to pay for a pricey meal and want to get waited on, look elsewhere!
