My friend and I endured the wrath of the mean tea lady. I thought she was ficticious, but then I saw her face to face. I think I'm scarred for life. I had to go to tea therapy. All I wanted was the tea I paid for, but she washed it down the drain much like my hopes and dreams. \r

It all started last Sunday at Tin Angel. My friend and I sat down not knowing what to expect. I didn't know they only served brunch, and since I had breakfast already that day I wasn't really eager to eat another one (being a vegetarian, I only had a couple of choices). We had to get up to inform our hostess that we changed our mind. She asked, ""Well, did you order anything?"" We explained we ordered tea, but didn't drink it and she said the waiter would have to charge us. That was fine. After all, we were the ones that ordered them. What happened next was the strange part. I just paid $4.26 for two teas I didn't drink, but she took them to the back and poured them down the drain. Now why would I want to pay almost five bucks for tea I didn't drink? We asked her if she packed up our teas and she snapped, ""Your waiter will have to do that."" That made no sort of sense. So we were charged for tea we didn't drink just for her to dump it out and then have to pour us new ones. I really didn't get it. If you want a drink that you paid for, you might want to go somewhere else.
Pros: You get told they've only been doing brunch for ten years
Cons: You won't get tea if you pay for it.
