In a place where it seems like every restaurant is a franchise, Aspens is not an exception. It is a nice place for a franchise, but I really wish that there were some reputable family-owned restaurants/steakhouses around here that could compete with the likes of Aspens, Ruth's Chris, etc.\r

As far as Aspens goes, at the West Cobb location the atmosphere, food ,and service is good, but it is WAY too expensive. They have decent specials if you can get there early enough, and these are more resonably priced than the normal dinner menu. You can also use coupons from the Entertainment book, which really helps. Otherwise you can not get out of there without a $125 (average) bill - I guess the owners will like that comment. For the price, there are other franchise Steak houses that I would prefer patronizing, not including Roadhouse, etc., which Aspen's is definitely a cut above.
Pros: Great Atmosphere, good food
Cons: Way to expensive.
