There's never a shortage of beers at Barley's, and you'll find good food if you ask for it. The warehouse type building in Knoxville's Old City lends itself well to this kind of establishment, as wooden floors and high ceilings go perfectly with microbrews and quirky music. Barley's is not afraid to book a band from outside the mainstream, and this is one of the things I like most about the place, whether I end up liking the band or not. This is not a place to go ""clubbing"" nor really a place to meet people, as most folks arrive as a group. Still, it's entertaining, often downright fun, and I'll be back again and again.
Pros: Beer selection
Cons: Kitchen is slow
