My husband and I visited the 9th Door last week on a Monday night. The hostess informed us that every Monday all the wine is half price. We started out with a bottle of Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) and serrano membrillo which was reccomended to us by our server and was an excellent pairing. We moved on to a great bottle of wine from their cellar selection list (why not, it was half price) and discovered a wonderful tempranillo Berceo (we wrote it down hoping to find it at the store!) It accompanied every tapa very nicely. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. Try the paella. We were told it is a special Mondays through Wednesdays! We'll definitely be back and especially on Mondays to try more bottles of wine we normally wouldn't buy at full price.
