Well after I read all the other reviews, I stopped by REO's, and well I'm sorry to say, although some of the dishes were OK. the ribs, pork, brisket and chicken need some adjustments made. and the sauce well it just want do. Granted there are large smokers out front which I may remind folks don't smoke all the time, so that tells me after the meat is cooked it sets somewhere and is possibly reheated before it is served. Yes I am from the South, born and raised until I moved to Hillsboro 4 years ago. I have tried to convince myself and not put my man down but the bbq is average if not below and way to over priced. \r
I am used to pit bbq, slowed smoked and fallen apart, where no sauce is needed to enhance the flavor except as a condiment if you like. So my expectations are high and so I guess thats why I so diisapinted. My general rule is if you can't smell it before you get to it, chances are it's not good. Same rule apllies to REO's, granted the northwest in general is not the the place I would expect to find the best BBQ but if you are going to serve it then by all means make it worth the visit. \r
