After striking out with the rude sales people in the Manhattan location, I decided to try a location outside of the city. Unfortunately, I was greeted with the same rude, condescending attitude - when I explained to the sales person that I was looking for hardwoods for a complete home renovation, he told me that I couldn't look at any, and that I shouldn't be using hardwood material. When I said, ok, what do you recommend? he said ""well, i don't know what you're doing, how should I know"". I asked what he COULD help me with, and he said to just look around the store. \r
This company obviously has no interest in facilitating material selection and pricing for customers who would likely return to their stores in years to come. I would never return to or recommend this company to anyone, even if it has been around for decades.
