There are lots of competitors in this category of dining, and I've tried them all. But food at Famous Dave's has the best flavor, hands down! I love the brisket, and even friends from Texas tell me it's authentic - the best they've had outside of their great state. My kids go nuts over the ribs. The meat falls off the bone. My wife is into the roasted chicken, which is marinated, not BBQ'd and always moist and flavorful. The atmosphere is great and servers are friendly. When there's a wait, we like to order togo and take it home. I've even had them cater my company picnic and the catering manager Richard, took care of every detail, so things were smooth and I didn't have to worry.
Pros: Great choices, great value and nice family atmosphere
Cons: portions are huge! Every time I go there, I overeat!
