We went to 555 East for our 27th Anniversary, after reading all of the reviews here. But I was very disappointed. We asked for a booth, but we were given a 1/2 booth-1 had to sit on a chair that was very uncomfortable. The steaks were delicious, but no more delicious than any prime steak. The choice of potatoes were uninspired. How could this restaurant be considered romantic when you couldn't sit next to your friend-you sat across? Ruth Chris has cozy booths and prime steaks. Also, the restaurant annoyed me with no special dessert for the Anniversary.
Pros: Prime Steak, Table side made Caesar salad
Cons: Expensive, uncomfortable chairs, boring potatoe choices.
