My friends and I checked out this cafe-restaurant a week after it opened... the ambience being really stylish worried me that the food's not gonna live up to it (cause that's how most LA restaurants are =), but this place is serious when it comes to food. Good mix of authentic chinese and fusion dishes on the menu. We had traditional stuff like fried calamari, wings, fried rice etc, and everything was delicious! Great staff & service too. I'm praying for them to keep up the effort. Right now this place is a gem because I don't know anything like that place in that area of town. It'll probably become real popular soon because that neighborhood is blooming.
