Tonight we circled this saffron-colored 1920's house looking for clues like a couple of foodie-stalkers, taking in the kitchen, floor staff & a scarce view of the dining areas before deciding to take the plunge... Would this be yet another disappointing I-talian American restaurant that looks promising on paper but leaves you thinking Liberace could have done better? The cheesy Andrea Bocelli soundtrack detracted slightly, as well as plastic flower-filled urns & mirrors--but the food--a mama mia for sure.
Pros: Don't overlook the southend for some of the best dining values
Cons: Don't expect Belltown glitz
