la fogata is in a strip mall, but there's a lively neighborhood-bar feel to the restaurant as well. they also have an outdoor seating area, which is nice. their menu selections are decently priced - i had the enchiladas suizas from the lunch menu, they were $6.95. shmackyrelish had combo #9, a ground beef taco and a tamale. i noticed that their flour tortillas are not made in-house, but on the other hand - they take the entertainment book! no pork carnitas on the menu, which is always a negative for me. the chips were served hot, but the salsa had that canned tomato taste, and very little cilantro or spicing. all in all, okay but not great.
Pros: entertainment book participant
Cons: bland storebought salsa and storebought tortillas
